I grew up in a small town as girl named Kacey Jane that played sports by day and burned the midnight oil reading the classics by night. I discovered I was creative in high school through writing, and again in college because I loved photography, but didn't quite know what to do with that at the time.
I taught sixth grade English (and shopped at J. Crew) until I became a mom. Three kids and six years later... I find myself with a really fun, messy family and a thriving photography business (as well as a penchant for online shopping because girl doesn't have time to go to the storefront anymore).
I couldn't be more thankful for life right now. I'm thirty-one years old and have more dreams at this point in my life than I've ever had before and I think that's pretty cool. I do a lot of everything and have always functioned best wearing lots of hats. I'm currently enjoying the wedding, interior, and commercial facets of my business, but you give me a any subject and I'll shoot it until the sun goes down. I just love it that much.
I have to have music and fresh air, or what is life? I can never pick a favorite anything because I have lots of favorite everything. I love bro county which surprises most people because apparently I don't seem the type (but ya'll, I grew up on a dirt road). I'm a lifelong Oklahoman, but I've been to some really amazing places and hope to venture to many, many more with my business and my family.
If I'm not momming, shooting or editing, I'm one hundred percent up late reading a book (some things never change). I don't (and can't) do anything on my own. I've got an amazing family and village surrounding me that makes balancing work, life, family and dreams possible.
I love working with people and am ever so grateful that photography gives me the chance to do just that. I'd love for you to reach out if you're a prospective bride, client, or collaborator. Or if you just want to talk about our mutual love for bro country that would be fine, too.
